HI,

I have 13 bags of frozen milk to donate, equaling 41 ounces of milk in total. The bags are from 6/25/10 – 10/15/10, and range in size from 1 oz to 6 oz. (My son was born 6/22/10 so these are from 3 days old to almost 4 months old.) These are Lansinoh bags. (The bag from 6/25/10 has one ounce in it and it’s transitional milk, transitioning from colostrum to regular milk. It’s kind of orangy in color. All the other milk was after my milk fully came in.)

My son is 6 months old and sensitive to dairy in my diet so I am currently dairy-free. I didn’t go dairy-free until his 4-month well visit check, though. He is still sensitive so I don’t want to give him the milk that I pumped and stored before I went dairy-free.

I am:
-non-smoker
-no alcohol
-no caffeine prior to 9/15/10. I returned to work three days/week on 9/15 and drank one cup of coffee per day on each of my three work days.
-I take vitamins: Vitamin D, Fish Oil, and Women’s One-a-Day
-I didn't take any OTC or prescription drugs
-I am a vegetarian
-healthy, mother of two kids

The milk has been stored in our chest freezer.

I followed regular standard procedure for pumping but didn’t go to any extra-ordinary measures when pumping or collecting milk (for example, I wash my pump parts in the dishwasher or by hand, but didn’t boil and sterilize my parts each time.) I did intend that my son would drink this milk, and I obviously didn’t do anything to put him in harm’s way.

I live near I-355 and I-88 in the West Suburbs of Chicago. Please let me know if you’re interested.
