Shippng Questions Empty Shippng Questions

Post by blessedmommy Tue May 04, 2010 9:57 am

Hi All,

I am just curious about shipping. I am having an awful time finding local donors in Arizona but don't have a lot of extra funds. What is the normal cost and about how much milk do you get? Who do you like to use to ship? What is the best way to pack?

Thanks for all your help.
Tanna

I'm in AZ too and have only found one local donor, which was a one-time donation. Shipping depends on where you are getting the milk from. I have paid $180 for overnight shipping from Maine for about 200 ounces. But I have also paid about $80 for overnight shipping from California for 300 ounces. So it just depends. UPS tends to be cheapest with closer areas (CA, NM, CO) and the post office is cheapest with areas further away. Hope this helps!

Anyone have any idea how much it would be to ship about 300oz from Bay Area to San Diego?? Or how I can find out a good estimate? Thanks

You need to get the zip code, then go to UPS, USPS and/or Fedex.com and enter the start and ending destinations. I would estimate 30 pounds for the package.
