Update: My freezer has been cleaned out and the milk has found a home. Good luck to all of you who are still looking for donations! I will definitely refer anyone I can who has extra milk.

How are you? Thank you for posting on the milkshare forum.

I am the mother of a little girl born on Christmas eve. Due to an emergent c-section, my daughter's tongue tie and subsequent latch issue as well as complications from a thrush infection, my milk supply has been quite low. I have been working hard with 2 lactation specialists, taking herbs and medications and pumping regularly to increase my milk supply, but the progress is slow. We have been supplementing my daughter with some formula but she does not seem to tolerate it well (gastritis, vomiting etc...).

If you still have the extra milk, please let me know if you would be willing to donate it to my daughter. We live in Portland but will be in Seattle on Thursday. Thank you so much for your consideration and feel free to email me at maria.aron@mac.com or call 503-789-3687.

Sincerely,
Maria

Hi!!!

We would love for you to consider us for your milk! We have a darling little 5 1/2 month old baby girl that we adopted. I'm nursing her as much as I can, but am still needing to supplement her about 20 ounces a day. I have a post about her here - https://milkshare.forumotion.com/t2193-looking-for-milk-for-our-darling-adopted-baby-girl-north-of-seattle . Anyway, we are in Marysville, but I'm very happy to drive to Bellevue, no problem at all. My email is hobbsandbean@gmail.com or you can message me here. Thanks!

I have at least a few hundred ounces in a chest freezer in our garage that my husband would love to see go away! My daughter is 16 months old now and does not need my emergency stash. There are probably some bags of milk that are past expiration, but you are welcome to take it all and use what you need/want. I do not smoke, did not drink when pumping, but did have a little coffee. Let me know if you are interested!
