Desperately Seeking Donor Milk... Empty have milk to spare

Post by chana Sun Jul 14, 2013 12:35 pm

My daughter is 3.5 months old, thriving great on breast milk....but I would want you to know, I do have Crohn's disease, so the hospitals won't take my milk. I am healthy and have no symptoms, and I take a medication called Apriso, which is approved for pregnancy and breastfeeding. My daughter is doing great, and I wouldn't breastfeed if I had any qualms. I also take prenatal vitamins, DHA and iron. I have wayyyy more milk than we need, and I'd love to share with another child who could use it.

Desperately Seeking Donor Milk... Empty Desperately Seeking Donor Milk...

Post by KSmama Tue May 28, 2013 7:07 pm

I have an 8 month old daughter who has been exclusively breastfed with donor milk since birth. I had a pituitary tumor that was removed, but have chronic low milk supply issues now, despite all of my efforts to increase...I make roughly 8-10oz of milk a day. We live overseas but will be spending our summer stateside in two different states--Kansas and Oregon. I need about 400oz of milk in Kansas and about 1000oz of milk in Oregon for our summer. If you have large quantities you are looking to donate, please let me know. I will pay for all shipping and related costs. Thank you so much for considering our family. Our 4.5 year old daughter was exclusively fed with donor milk for the first 13.5 months of her life, thanks to mamas from milkshare. Very Happy
