Phoebe is low on milk and we are happy to send a cooler to anyone who is willing to donate. Luckily with the help of donors she just made it through her first kidney infection and 7 days of injectible antibiotics with flying colors. She was crabby but did great. We are going to be out of town for 2 weeks visiting family for our first trip since she was born almost 2 years ago and will need to have a supply for her while we are away, so we need milk shipped to my mother's house in ME for the time we are there or will have to take some with us.

PLEASE consider donating to Phoebe. She depends highly on donors like you!

I just south of Fredericksburg and have milk less than 6mos, but I am not sure a sensitive GI will tolerate it as I didn't cut out any dairy and although I eat fairly healthy, I wasn't watching what I ate. But I am a non smoker and not on any medications, so let me know if you can use some. My son is now 13mos so we are not using it fast enough (I pumped at work had an oversupply issue.)

I can donate. I had a baby in February 2013 and she spent several weeks in the NICU. As a result, I have a freezer full (literally) of breast milk that I am willing to donate. I have tried donating to a national milk bank but they will not accept as I was taking Procardia for blood pressure (I had pre-eclampsia) since she was a few days old.
Please let me know if you are interested. I am in Northern Virginia as well.

Hello,

I'm new to milk sharing, so I'm not sure how this works. My 4th child had trouble with nursing in the beginning and so I went through 4 months of nursing, pumping and supplementing with the pumped milk. He is doing great now and I don't want to ween him, which leaves me with almost 300 ounces in the freezer that I really don't want to throw out. The oldest milk is almost 11 months (3/24/12 I think is the oldest date up to about June or July 2012), but it has been stored in a deep freezer the whole time. I am in the Richmond area. Please let me know if you are interested.

Bumping- we are desperate for Phoebe milk. She is not tolerating a recent donor and we are going to be out Sad

She flies to Columbus tomorrow to see her specialist for her pain medications. She is flying on a very unhappy tummy.

Please consider donating your milk to Phoebe Jane in Northern VA. She just spent a week in the hospital with pneumonia. She is FTT and has Russell Silver Syndrome and a really sensitive GI tract. You can learn more about her at russellsilverparents.org.
