I'm very weary when it comes to giving my milk away, I worked very hard to pump it and I want to make sure the person I give it to is actually giving it to a baby and not trying to sell it or just getting my milk BC they don't want to take the time to breastfeed. I know some people honestly couldn't breastfeed for medical reasons but how can I know they aren't trying to scam me? Any advice and what questions to ask?

I Facebook friend them...talk to them email...phone ect...as much as u can before hand. If they aren't willing to share with me I'm not willing to share my milk. Some people like WWW.humanmilkforhumanbabies.com cus they feel they can connect on Facebook ez'er. I use both milkshare and that site.

U can also ask for photos...meet upbefore hand ect ;-) I meet allot moms of milk share ;-) normally people r more then happy to share themselves and babies cus u r helping there small little life. How wouldn't want to connect with an amazing donor that way. They also want to know u...they r taking a risk in you as u r them....feeding your milk to there baby ;-) I have donated to over 72 babies between milk share and human milk for human babies....its an amazing gift to give. ;-)

I know this is an old post but I feel like responding. I had that same concern. i always request to see a photo of them with their kid. Even if it's just a picture on their phone. Most of the moms actually bring their baby with them. I've only had one who didn't, but she showed me a picture. Things ended up not working out with us anyway as she NEVER replaced bags, always had to reschedule, and was never on time. I felt like she didn't appreciate what I was doing for her. Anyway, I now primarily use HM4HB. I build a relationship with the moms before hand and usually just have one mom I donate to at a small one time, although I will do a one time donation to any mom who needs it.
