Wanted: Donated Breast Pump Empty Wanted: Donated Breast Pump

Post by Jewelsx21 Tue Sep 27, 2011 7:48 pm

I am currently 14 weeks pregnant with a surrogate baby. The parents of the baby live acrossed the country, and don't want to have to worry about shipping breast milk. So other then the short time we are in the hospital together, I will not be providing them with any milk.

I was hoping to find a local couple (or even someone who is willing to pay for shipping) that would want my milk, the thing is...honestly I cannot pay the price of a good pump right now. I am hoping to find someone who has a Medela Double breast pump they are looking to donate, so I can use it for donating breast milk for a few months after this surro baby is born.

Hope I don't sound greedy, but I know Medala pumps work well for me...and I have 4 young children in my home, so double is a must to cut down on time. I had a Medela Freestyle when I had my last child (less then 2 years ago) I donated all my spare milk to my local NICU, and then gave my pump to a mom in need when I was done with it.

Anyways, thought I would give this a try...I have been watching Freecycle and a couple local sites but haven't seen any good pumps for free. I am not due to March, so I have plenty of time. Oh and I am located in southern ontario Laughing
