My daughter is 5 weeks old, and is not able to drink my breast milk due to allergy. I've been pumping and storing for 3 weeks and would like to donate what I have stored in the freezer and any future I may produce. I am taking synthroid and zyrtec. Not sure if that exlcudes me as a donor.

You might want to check with your pediatrician on whether you would be able to feed it to your daughter and check with a milkbank to see what their guidelines are on donating on the meds. (as a reference.)

Then be open and honest with any potential recipients as to what kinds of meds you are on and the dosage. Recipients may want to check with their OB or pediatrician.

I usually check on meds @ kellymom.com, but there are other sites that might work, or maybe your pharmacy can help...of course your pedi, too, but the first 2 are probably faster.
