Hi Kristina,

My name is Jenny. My husband and I have an adopted 2 months old baby girl that we're seeking donor milk for. We live in Baltimore, MD, and if you're not too far from where we live in DC, we can probably arrange to pick up your milk. Or I can tell you where you can get free large styrofoam coolers and boxes to pack/ship your milk in, and use 2 day shipping that'll cost less than $20. Please email me: jenny7111917@yahoo.com, and we can communicate some more. Thanks

Jenny

Hi Kristina

My name is Jasmine I would be interested but Im new to milk share in general and dont know much about shipping but could look into it. I have had to move to pumping for my son because he simply doesnt gIet anything breastfeeding and was slowly slipping down the charts in weight. Im trying to pump but he also gets a lot of formula a day because I simply cant meet his demand. He will be 4 months old Oct 4. My email is enchantingdragon@gmail.com I live in NJ

Hi! I have a whole freezer full of milk (haven't counted, but it's more than 50 bags) and it seems like there are more people getting rid of milk in Virginia than people who need it. I pump exclusively, and if my milk supply keeps up (god willing) I'm willing to donate more than once. I'm not entirely sure how shipping works, but if someone could enlighten me I'd be happy to do it.

My son is 4 months old tomorrow and the oldest milk in the freezer is 1 month old. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, have any STDs, or drink caffeine. I don't have a copy of my full medical history on hand but, if given time, could probably get it.

Full disclosure: I can't donate to public milk banks because I lived in England when I was a baby (25 years ago!) and am therefore inelligible to give blood or breastmilk.

I started out with a low milk supply and had to supplement with formula; my son was covered in rashes, was gassy, cranky, and threw up constantly. I am SO thankful to have enough to feed my son now, as I remember how frustrating it was for both of us. Now that I even have a bit extra I'm trying to pay it forward to a family in the same boat as I was in Smile

Cheers!

Kristina
