Wow! Would I ever be interested!! That is just wonderful! About how many ounces do you think you'd have? Would you have paperwork from your last pregnancy verifying your health? You can email me further at kathy.rosegarden@gmail.com

Thank you so much!

Hi there Kathy.

I live in the Pittsburgh area and have a freezer full of milk and am still dealing with an over supply. I just discovered this site and would love to donate my excess milk. I have an almost 4 month old who is growing and thriving. I do not smoke, drink, do any kind of drugs. I take my prenatal vitamins, iron and DHA. I have no diseases or illness of any kind. I do my best to eat a very healthy and balanced diet, organic and rBGH free, etc.

Please let me know if you are interested. This is my first time posting on this board. I will hold off a few days before posting to anyone else.

Needing milk for my baby... Empty Needing milk for my baby...

Post by kathy.rosegarden Sat Aug 28, 2010 10:56 am

I have a five month old who is allergic to dairy, and a DD who could handle no formula and ended up with multiple food allergies. I don't want to touch formula in the hopes that I can keep from sensitizing my DS to the potential food allergens in it. To complicate the issue, I have insufficient glandular tissue and am able to supply only half of the milk he needs. I received a ton of milk from a wonderful donor but her baby is using all her milk now and I am needing to find another donor. Is there someone who is smoke, alcohol, drug, and disease free who would have milk to share? It can be one time or ongoing, local or long distance. I will reimburse for milk bags, shipping if needed, and have an account with FedEx. For local donations I will drive an hour or so to meet you and even further if you have 300 oz. or more.

I just want to add that I am so grateful for all you donors do in sharing milk with those of us who don't have any other options!!! Milkshare has been a lifesaver for me! Very Happy Cheers to all... cheers
