I am so sorry to hear about the adoption failing - I am sure this is very difficult for you. How wonderful of you to offer the milk to someone else! I am interested in the milk for my daughter, but can you tell me how old the donor baby is? I am trying to find some milk that is from a baby the same age as my daughter when it was pumped (she is 9 months).

Hello,

We have several hundred ounces of breastmilk available to donate. My spouse and I received the milk 2 months ago from a donor in NC for an upcoming adoption, which ended up falling through a few weeks ago. I spoke with her, and we both agree that although we are trying to adopt again, the milk she donated to us would be better off going to a baby who needs it now.

The oldest milk is from June or July 2009, and it has been in a deep freezer since it was pumped (the milk is usually good for 6-12 months in the deep freezer).

The donor is willing to speak with you directly if you have any questions about her, her beautiful and healthy daughter, or the milk she donated to us, or just want to make sure we are legitimate!

Please let me know soon - we live in Silver Spring.
Thank you,

Tafadzwa and Miguel
