Milk needed in Northern VA/DC area Empty I'm here

Post by sheisme44 Thu Nov 07, 2013 11:39 pm

Hello. I live in MD, close to Alexandria and would like to help. I have serious over supply issues and am available. Have frozen milk and plenty of fresh milk as well. I have no freezer space so storing milk is not an option for me. My baby is almost 4 mos.

I have about 20 to 30 frozen bags (about 6 oz each bag) to donate, all expressed within the past two months (milk dates from August forward) and frozen in freezer in basement rarely opened. I live in Richmond. This is excess from my baby now just over one year old. My baby is over 25 pounds and nursed exclusively for nine-months--so milk is good! Just let me know if needed.

Milk needed in Northern VA/DC area Empty Milk needed in Northern VA/DC area

Post by megank Thu Oct 17, 2013 2:26 pm

I have a 7 week old baby who is struggling with gastrointestinal issues/constipation. I am currently breastfeeding him and supplementing with formula as my production is low and he is a lazy eater. His tummy does not respond well to formula, however, and he seems most comfortable on days when I am able to provide him with mostly breastmilk. I am wondering if there is anyone in the area who might be willing to donate to us. We would really appreciate any help you might be able to offer. I am willing to travel to pick up the donation. Thank you.
