kassandra: I was hoping to stay local.
greenmimama: we haven't gone to gr since last april for a trip to devos. our vehicle is not so reliable.
Oh! How I wish I could donate to all the replies I have gotten! I also placed an ad on the michigan eats and feets facebook page. When I figure out exactly how much I have to donate I will be in touch. I didn't realize I would get such a response so quickly!

Do you ever come south a bit?? we are in need of milk, my 6mo adopted son has been mostly nourished by donor breastmilk. We live in the Grand Rapids area, the farthest north we ever go regularly is about an hour north of GR.

Hi Kristy, I would definitely be interested for my six month old daughter! She was born with a condition that, while not major, made it difficult for her to nurse. I pump, but even with supplements and domperidone, only make a few ounces a day. We've been lucky with some one-time donors, and she does so amazing on mother's milk I'm hoping to keep her on it as long as possible!

Are you willing to ship? I did that with a momma from Colorado and I try to make it absolutely as easy as possible (I would have a box sent to you, as well as prepay the shipping and make arrangements to have it picked up so you don't have to go anywhere). I'm also happy to reimburse bags (or have replacement bags sent to you) or any other expenses.

I live near Traverse City and would like to donate my freezer full of breast milk. My child won't take a bottle. He is a healthy 5 month old. I don't smoke, drink, or take any drugs. I drink 2 cups of coffee daily and eat a mostly whole food diet. I take a daily multivitamin and cod liver oil. Let me know if you are interested or have any other questions!
