Hello mamas! I'm still looking for milk for my almost 7 month old, Karleigh. She's been on breastmilk since birth, but since I had to stop pumping she's been on formula. She's not doing great on it, will rarely take a bottle. I get her to once a day now at bedtime but she will only drink 3oz. I've tried to supplement with nasty vitamin drops that I had to fight to get down her throat and she usually gags to the point of vomiting when I give them to her, so I actually don't give them to her much anymore. I have to hydrate her with pedialyte, water and some juice and hide her formula in her food. That is getting harder to do now since she's starting to refuse the pureed stuff and wants only finger foods. Sometimes she'll take an ounce of formula in 4oz of pedialyte, but not often. I've been given the go ahead to start whole milk at 9 months since she's being such a stubborn little thing, but I have to get her through the next 2 months first and without some breastmilk I can't get the formula into her. She will take it mixed half and half with the breast milk thats why I need it. I'm really scared that she's gonna become iron deficient or some other vitamin deficiency. If I can get more than just the next 2 months worth, I'll take it. I don't want to put her on whole milk early, but I may have no choice. Well thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
