Milk to donate Empty Re: Milk to donate

Hi! I would be so grateful to have your milk...I have a 3 1/2 month old baby boy, born slightly premature and adopted at birth. I have had him on as much breastmilk as I can, but have had to supplement a lot with formula. We have picked up milk from Alabama and North Carolina because I've not been able to find a donor closer and will run out of our current supply in a couple of weeks tops. He does so much better on breastmilk than on formula (no matter which one I try!).

We also adopted his older half-sister (now 19 months) at birth and because of Milkshare we were able to have her exclusively on breastmilk until she was one. I had hoped to do the same for her baby brother...she is one of the healthiest kids I know, and I attribute that to the breastmilk since they have older half sibs who have lots of alleries and other minor health problems.

I live on the northeast side of Atlanta, but am happy to drive anywhere to pick up milk for him! I am a SAHM, so can make the trip pretty much anytime (although we're going out of town tomorrow morning for the holiday). I usually have just asked donors in the past to provide me with a copy of pregnancy bloodwork done showing negative HIV and Hepatitis results.

Thanks SO MUCH for considering us!!

Tracy (and Owen)

Hey! I have a 7 month old son and make a lot of extra milk. I have a freezer full and still end up throwing out close to 20 ounces a day. I live near Augusta, GA.
