Hi,

I am in desperate need of milk, my son is allergic to all formulas, he is 6 months old and can't keep anything down. Doctors want to give him radiation and do extensive testing. I had a lot of complications having him and we were both under 4 types of antibiotics. I desperately tried (trying) to breast feed but nothing comes out, I tried all remedies. I can't just stand and wait for doctors to experiment with my son. He am in desperate need, i need someone to please help him.

Hello Jennifer,

How are you? Thank you for posting on the milkshare forum.

I am the mother of a little girl born on Christmas eve. Due to an emergent c-section, my daughter's tongue tie and subsequent latch issue as well as complications from a thrush infection, my milk supply has been quite low. I have been working hard with 2 lactation specialists, taking herbs and medications and pumping regularly to increase my milk supply, but the progress is slow. We have been supplementing my daughter with some formula but she does not seem to tolerate it well (gastritis, vomiting etc...).

If you still have the extra milk, please let me know if you would be willing to donate it to my daughter. We live in Portland as well and would be happy to meet you anywhere and pay for your supply costs. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Maria

My baby is 4 months old and I continue to produce more than my baby needs. I'm a donor to the Mother's Milk Bank in Denver, however, I have some milk from before I contacted the milk bank when I wasn't keeping track of when I took advil. As a result I can't donate it to the milk bank (they have very strict requirements on the milk). Their strict requirements are your good luck because I have passed all of their rigorous tests (blood tests and long question forms). The only thing I can't promise is that the milk may have been pumped when I was taking advil (at regular doses). I am located in the Portland area.
