Re: Seeking milk for my 3 month old daughter
Thank you so much for your message! We just arrived yesterday. We would definitely be interested, especially because our children are of similar age and it sounds like you are here in Wisconsin! We actually received 2 ounces from a milk bank here in Madison today, but doing that is really just too cost prohibitive for us. It would be an added bonus to see your letter.
Wow! I am really excited!
Please let me if you have any questions about me or my daughter, Ilana.
best,
Meredith

Are you still in need of milk? I'm currently breastfeeding my 5-month old son and have more than enough to share. I've been donating to a milk bank for the past few months, but would like to help out someone directly. I have all the bloodwork done and could forward you my milk bank approval letter. I would probably be able to give you about 15 oz a day. Let me know.

Seeking milk for my 3 month old daughter
We were really lucky finding donors in Texas and i am hoping to be able to find breast milk for my daughter in Wisconsin. We will be in the Madison area though i am of course more than willing to drive to pick up any milk you could offer.
I have been dealing with a low-supply from the start. I never even knew women could face difficulties with breastfeeding until it happened to me. We began supplementation on day 2 due to a difficult delivery that resulted in low blood sugar levels for my daughter. Though i pump every 2 hours with a hospital grade pump, use a SNS for stimulation, do lots of skin to skin contact, take domperidone, fenugreek, and drink herbal tea to help my supply, i can only manage 6-8 oz a day which is no match for my daughter's growing needs. Since the beginning of this month, fortunately we've been supplementing with the breast milk from a generous donor. But we will need more soon. My daughter has a difficult time with formula, while with breast milk she is content and happy.
We will be in Wisconsin the first week of October. Please let me know if you would be willing to donate. We would be so very grateful.
thank you so much,
mg
