Hi!

Thanks so much for your post! I'm very interested. I have a 12.5 wk old son and I am unable to produce more than 3-6oz/day. My dr & lactation consultants have been unable to figure out what exactly is wrong with my milk supply and it has been devastating to say the least. Thank you so much for being willing to help babies get such a great start with your milk. I live in Bryan/College Station but have family in Houston. It is possible that they can pick it up or meet you half way. Of course I would compensate you for gas and storage bags. I will send you a pm. Thanks again!

Sonia

Houston/Galveston - Frozen breastmilk available! Empty Houston/Galveston - Frozen breastmilk available!

Post by lostanjali Thu Sep 16, 2010 11:18 am

Im a breastfeeding mommy and I've got lots of freshly pumped breastmilk that ive pumped the past few days. (I had been trying to get my lil guy to take a bottle since we have a road trip coming up, but he absolutely refuses, so I give up.) Now all the pumped breastmilk will be of no benefit to us since he'll only take his lunch "straight from the tap", which I'm ok with =) I am most definitely disease-free, I do not smoke, or take medications (I only take prenatal vitamins), I do not drink alcohol since I breastfeed, nor any other substances at all. My milk is very healthy =)
I believe that every baby deserves the gift of breastmilk and I am absolutely proud of you for seeking out breastmilk donations for whatever reason! If you would like, I would be happy to provide milk for you as you need it. I produce a LOT of milk, and my baby gets more than enough and leaves me with lots to pump.
I live in Galveston, and if you would like to come pick it up, I would gladly donate the milk for free, no compensation asked. If you live in the Houston area and would like us to come drop it off to you, that would be no problem at all, I would only ask for compensation for gas $ (around $10 or so?).
Let me know if you are interested and we can discuss it further.
