Hi! I'm a mom in Eau Claire. I used to have a low supply, but in the last week, I have been able to make more than enough to start freezing my own milk. But I still have a large stash of milk that was donated to me. You are welcome to most of my stash if you'd like to pick it up. Let me know.

In need of milk donations! Empty In need of milk donations!

Post by Stefanie Wed Sep 15, 2010 7:32 pm

My beautiful son Bjorn is 7 months old and we are in need of donor milk. I have been supplementing via a nursing aid since he was about 10 wks old. So he gets some of my milk and some donor milk at the same time.

I have a low supply but with the help of a wonderful lactation consultant, it's on the rise! When I was young and not thinking too much about having children yet, I got a breast reduction. Sad I now very much regret that decision because I love breastfeeding my son so much and wish I didn't have to supplement.

I actually am down to only have to supplement about 8 oz/day. I have supplemented with organic formulas (when we run out of milk) but he always gets so gassy, congested and spitting up a lot with formula. It never seems to makes him feel very good. Unfortunately, this is what we are having to do right now. We currently have no milk and no leads on getting any more milk. So I am hoping someone could help us out.

We live in Minneapolis but come down to Madison about once a month (my husband grew up there). The next time we are coming down is the second weekend in Oct. So we could pick up along the way or in Madison, if you are there.

Thank you so much for considering milk donation!
