lots of milk to give Empty in need of breast milk

Post by cjulian Sun Aug 15, 2010 2:33 pm

hello. i live in morgantown, and i am a doctor at ruby memorial hospital. i am currently breast feeding my 7 week old daughter, but i am not producing enough milk. thus i have to give her formula once to twice per day. i am starting back to work soon and have not been able to store any milk in the freezer. i really wanted to give her strictly breast milk for the first year. i would love to accept some of your stored milk. i have a friend who lives in charleston and he is going to come up to visit me in about a week. let me know if this milk is still available and what arrangements can be made.
thank you very much for donating.

i live in charleston WV, i am a stay at home mom of 2. my daughter is 5 and my son is 8 months. i have lots of milk in my freezer. my baby was born in december but the milk has been in a deep freeze. some of what i have still has colostrum in it. i have 45 bags, and am starting to collect again, all of which are mostly 5 and 6oz. some are 7 and 8, and a few are 4. i eat a healthy diet, do not smoke or drink. i am not on any medications, i only take prenatal vitamins. i have been cleared by my doc to donate. if u are interested message me and we can make arrangements for pick up.
