Wow! Thanks so much for the offer. My daughter is now 6 months old and with a combination of frequent nursing, domperidone and several herbs I have been able to build my supply to meet her needs.

I'm sure that there is one very lucky Mamma out there who would gratefully accept your milk.

not sure if you are still looking or not, i am 12 hours away and would require refridgerated shipping but i have 44 litres!!! in my fridge from my 12 week old baby

Hello, my name is Daphne and I am the Mamma of a beautiful 5 day old daughter named Freya. Many years ago I chose to have breast reduction surgery. At the time breastfeeding was not on my mind. When my son was born 3 years ago I supplemented him with formula. I was able to make about 60-70% of what he needed by taking domperidone and herbs. He developed allergies to dairy, soy and wheat which I attributed to the formula. I have experienced great sadness at not being able to provide him with the breastmilk that he needed but am hopeful that Freya will not develop the same food allergies.

This time around I really wanted to use donor milk. Before Freya was born I found a wonderful milk donor in our region through MilkShare. She has been so generous with her time and energy to pump for us, and it is an absulte joy for me to be changing every one of her seedy, yellow BM poopy diapers. Unfortunately our freezer stash of milk will not last beyond this week. So I am wondering if there might be another Mamma in the area who is considering donating her milk through MilkShare. Or maybe a Mamma who has a stash in her freezer that she is not using. I would be more than happy to provide you with bags or reimburse your cost for them.
