Sorry to hear all that you have been going through. Do you still want Breast milk? I have about 60 ounces I can donate. I just put an ad up a couple of days ago. I live in Rocky Ridge,

Seeking milk for my 1st baby, 4.5 month old daughter, June 2015
I gave birth to my first baby in January 2015. I have struggled with milk production issues from the beginning. I experienced lactation failure and, despite my best efforts, I have not been able to make enough milk for my baby girl. Since returning to work a month ago, my milk has steadily decreased again. I now pump about 2-4 oz. total for the entire day, which isn't even enough for one bottle. We have been giving her formula but it's very expensive and I can tell her body doesn't tolerate it the same way as breastmilk. I have really struggled physically and emotionally with this since the day she was born. I have never tried so hard in my entire life to do anything as hard as I have tried to make breastfeeding work. Lactation failure is so rare that a lot of people don't believe it's real; it's essentially a fancy way to say that my body is physiologically incapable of making enough milk for my baby. Thank God we live in a time when formula is so widely available or otherwise she would not have survived. I have done all that I can and am trying to live with the fact that my milk supply is finally dying out completely. However, I want to give her the best start possible and that has brought me here.
I absolutely understand the emotional attachment women have to their breastmilk. If anyone has an oversupply and is willing to donate milk to my baby girl, I will be forever grateful. I would be especially appreciative of anyone who has a child around the same age as my daughter, as I have read that the composition of breastmilk changes over time. She is 4.5 months old and the happiest baby I've ever seen. She is always smiling and happy. It breaks my heart that I've failed her in this way; although I recognize that it's not my fault, I still feel responsible as her one and only mother. We live in Gaithersburg, MD and I work in Silver Spring, MD. I'd be happy to pay for shipping milk from out of state or I'd be equally happy (if not more so) to drive in-state to pick up milk in-person. The latter might even be more fun because we could meet and get to know each other. Who knows, maybe our babies would grow up to become great friends! Anyway, thank you very much for your time and consideration. I wish you all the best! God bless!
