In need of milk for 1.5 month old foster baby that had a rough start Empty NM milk available

Post by icecream Fri Apr 19, 2013 3:02 pm

I am nursing my three month old daughter, who will not take a bottle and holds out for the breast. I am pumping at work to keep my supply up, but I pump about 7oz daily, and she usually takes less than one. My deep freezer is filling up, and I hate to see the milk go to waste. I do not drink alcohol or smoke, or take any medications. I take a prenatal vitamin daily and eat a healthy diet. Both my daughters nurse(d) exclusively and grew beautifully. My first daughter grew so fast and chunky her pediatrician told me, "You don't make milk, you make ice cream!" Our girls were conceived through assistive reproductive technology, so I have recently been tested for STDs (all negative, I've never had anything and have been with my husband over 11 years).
If you are interested, let's talk and work out the details. I would love for my milk to go to a good home.

If you take Birth control we are ok with that. Smile We are getting desperate. We only have 7 ounces left in our freezer and then it is back to formula and no sleeping for him. Sad

We have a 1.5 month old that is foster but we plan to adopt as we already adopted a sibling of the baby. We have tried every sensitive formula we can however nothing makes him happy other than breast milk. We had a lady donate 50 ounces at the time he was born because we knew he was going to be born addicted with a sensitive belly. She is no longer able to produce any more for us. We are located in the Portland Oregon area. Willing to pay for shipping or drive to pick up. Our little one would greatly appreciate any donations. Due to his rough start into the world we ask that the donor not be on any medication other than vitamins. Thank you!
