I gave birth to my 3rd child on NYE. Once again, I have an oversupply of milk. The guidelines for storing milk have changed since I had my 2nd child in 2010. The recommendation is to only freeze milk for 3-4 months now, vs. 6 months back in 2010. So, here I am with a 1 1/2 month old and I have about 150 bags of milk. I am willing to donate at least 100 of them. They are all 4-5oz a piece. I have colostrum and the early milk frozen as well so it would be perfect for someone with a preemie or a very young newborn.

I am not willing to ship this time around. It turned out to be a huge hassle last time and now with 3 kids, free time is limited. I would be willing to meet with the milk somewhere in the Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights area.

I just ask to be reimbursed for the cost of the bags. They are $18/50 bags.

Let me know if anyone is interested. I am running out of room in my freezer and have started pumping/dumping. I hate throwing out "liquid gold" though so I am looking to open up some room in my freezer! Smile
