Hello Sonpeff!

My husband and I will soon be adopting a baby girl who is due in mid-November. Her birthmom is a heroine addict, so she will likely be premature and will likely spend several weeks in ICU going through withdrawal before she can be brought home. She is going to be so medically fragile and needs a good start in life after such a rough time in utero, so we are looking for breast milk donations. If you have any to spare, it would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't had breast cancer or a masectomy, but I have been unable to induce lactation for this baby. And, when I last breast fed 3 years ago (my son is now 5), I had high lipase levels and had to scald all milk before it was stored. So, I was not a good breast milk donor candidate myself.

Thank you for considering me,

I have 200 oz already frozen, but would continue to send freshly pumped milk to a mom with breast cancer or mastectomy or to a baby who has lost their mother.
