Hi I am a Surrogate Mother who gave birth to my second surrobabe on 4-7-12. My IPs changed their mind about breastfeeding so they never did ask for the breastmilk I was pumping. I now am needing to find someone that could use the colustrum and nutrient rich breastmilk about 100oz that I had pumped for my surrobabe. Per my IPs request it was all pumped into and frozen in the 2oz bottles/breastmilk storage containers. This would be very convenient for someone needing breast milk for a newborn. And the colostrum could be very beneficial for parents needing breast milk for their preemies or maybe a baby who is underweight, but of course colostrum is nutritional for any baby any age. Please let me know if you are interested. I am located in Northwest Arkansas but I can ship anywhere. I need to find recipient soon so that I have have the space in my freezer back! lol

I'm a nursing mother of a 5 1/2 year old girl and I will be traveling without her for four days. I'm planning on pumping as often as I can to keep my supply. I don't need the milk at home because I have over 100 oz stored for her already. I don't want to bother transporting the frozen milk on the plane. I live in PA and will be traveling to New Orleans in two weeks.
I'm not sure how much milk I'll collect but I will be willing to ship it to you. I just don't know how to do that yet or how much it will cost.

My name is Jen. I live in New Bern NC. I am 30 years old, mother of 9 year old daughter, 5 year old son and 3 month old daughter Marley.
I was just (last week) diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. I solely breastfeed Marley (to the point where I took no pain medications after surgery as not to interrupt nursing!)
Unfortunately the cancer is a little worse than originally thought and I have been instructed that I will not be able to breastfeed AT ALL after the next surgery and radiation (in 2-3 weeks).I even considered "pumping and dumping" for 6 months to rid my body of radiation, but was told that lactating while receiving the I 131 iodine radiation would most likely result in breast cancer.
Donor milk never occurred to me, but Marley actually saved my life in that the benign mass on my thyroid (pregnancy hormone related) is what lead us to find the cancer. If it wasn't for the pregnancy related cyst, the cancer may have gone undetected for too long.
I want the best for my daughter. I have been an ER nurse for almost 9 years now, so I would simply request basic blood work (OB workup fine) and medications taking.
Thank you ladies for all you do. Marley has never had formula and I do not want to start now.
