Hi Sara,

I live in Northen NJ (it's a half an hour drive from NY) and have around 65-70 150ml packs of frozen milk from July-Sep of this year. It's kept in our deep freezer and we're running of space in it. My youngest son is 13 months old and doesn't drink as much as I pump during the day (besides he's mostly on solids during the day). I don't smoke, drink and don't take any medications. I don't have any diseases that can be transmitted via breast milk. Please contact me at alla7619@yahoo.com if you're interested to pick it up.

My heart goes to you, Jen. Hang in there!

Thanks,
Alla

I am seeing my midwife tomorrow, so if there are specific questions you would like me to ask her, please let me know. I also do not take illegal drugs, am healthy and in a committed relationship with my husband. All of my blood work was good during my pregnancy. Jen

need milk in New England/New York Empty I have milk, live near Albany NY

Post by JenniferW Mon Sep 26, 2011 6:57 pm

Hi Sarah- my name is Jen. I needed an emergency c-section this past Thursday. Our baby daughter did not make it. She was born at 32 weeks. My milk is starting to come in and I would really like to find a baby and mom who need it. I have a very good pump, and I can start pumping right away. Please let me know if you feel this will work out, I'm new to this and not sure what else you might need to know, except that I do not smoke, or drink. I am currently taking percocet and motrin for pain due to the c-section, but if this is contraindicated I 'm sure I can get on without it. Jen

Hello,

I have a 2-week-old baby girl. I am not able to breastfeed her at all due to a recent bilateral mastectomy, so I am relying on donated breastmilk. I live in CT and am happy to drive to eastern New York (and other New England states) to pick up milk, or else have the milk shipped (reimbursing you fully for all associated costs). I am deeply grateful for any help you can provide.

Warmly,
Sara
