Hello everyone, i am new here. I am so glad i found out about this program. I had my first baby in July who was 10 weeks premature. 3 hours after she was born I began pumping. I exclusivly pumped for 3 months bc my baby couldnt latch. Eventually she got once she was around 40 weeks corrected. Because she ate so little for so long, I was pumping and freezing my milk. I have really only used a few frozen bags. My august milk I nearing "expiration." I thought I was going to have to throw it away until i found this program. i worked so hard to make that milk, and it did wonders for my baby. She was 2lbs 12 oz when she was born and she is now 5 months old and 11.1lbs.
In any case. I am a healthy 27 year old. I am smoke free and alcohol free. I am not on any meds and hadn't taken any med when this milk was pumped. All my milk is frozen while fresh and stored in Lansinoh breast milk bags. I am unsure of the exact amount that I have but I will start to total it up today. I have alll of August, September and October to donate. I am sure that when Febrauary comes I will have most if not all of Novemeber to donate. Whatever I have as long as I can I will donate. I would like to find a family in need. I am willing to do whatever you need to feel comfortable with giving my milk to baby. Hope to hear from you soon. Laughing
I should add I am located in Bergen County, NJ. I would be willing to meet the right person, or ship.
