Sara and Claire,

We have been blessed with 8 different womens' milk since August 2010. I was finding resources locally in SC, NC and GA, but in the past 2 weeks milk supply in these states has been scarce. There are 5 mommy's looking for milk for their little ones.

I have a UPS account set up, following are shipping instructions from our UPS rep. We will use upon arrival.

Wrap 6-8 pumped milk bags in airtight in large Ziploc bags
Then wrap tightly in bubble wrap, then in paper bags
Shipped in thick cardboard box packed tight with paper
Marked HUMAN MILK - - PERISHABLE - - FRAGILE
Our address is 6 Pinto Court Travelers Rest, SC 29690
Ship Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday - regular Second Day Air

I have extra milk in a freezer that I would love to donate. I have about 50 oz at least frozen and I can pump a little extra (5-7 oz) every day. I am healthy, eat a traditional diet (low in refined sugars, mostly raw diary, and veggies and soaked grains), and exercise. I don't take any prescription meds and only drink maybe 1/2 an alcoholic beverage every so often. My daughter is 10 months old and still mostly EBF.

Please let me know if you would like some milk; I have offered to friends who have supplemented their new babies, but I guess they were weirded out by the idea of sharing milk. I would be sad to throw it out, though.
