Looking for milk starting end of February/March Empty Looking for milk starting end of February/March

Due to health issues (mechanical heart valve & autoimmune disorder), I'm too high risk to carry a pregnancy. My husband and I are adopting a child due at the end of February. While I'm aware that adoptive mothers can lactate, I won't be able to due to the medications I take and am unable to take hormones to stimulate the lactation. I've been reading lot of articles on organic formula and controversial methods of DHA additives (bleach, acid, hexane). As teachers we really can't afford the Nature's One brand with DHA supplement sold separately. We would LOVE to use breast milk for our infant. We feel it's the most healthy, natural option. We reside in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington DC.

Did I post this in the right place?

Thank you,
Lisa
