Given that donated milk is so precious, how much milk should I be giving my baby? He's 7 months old and I was hoping to get him to a year on breastmilk. He started eating solids, so that helps, but he's drinking about 20 oz/day. Is that too much or not enough? Then what do I do if/when the milk runs out? Thanks

Are you producing any of your own breastmilk or solely using donor milk? I supplemented with up to 24oz/day at one point but I was making about 6-8oz per day of my own milk at the time.

Every baby is different. The normal range of milk intake ranges from 19-30oz/day for breastfed babies.
