How hard it is to find milk as the baby(ies) gets older? We have been searching high and low and it seems most of the time ladies prefer newborns. I totally understand as a lot of the time there are tiny and sick babies who need it. I guess I am just getting frustrated since there are no other options for us outside of donated breastmilk and we've been having to buy it lately.

I can only speak for myself. Age of the baby had nothing to do with who I sent my milk too. I also didn't take into account the stories of why they needed milk. I didn't want to play favorites and try to see who deserved it more. I went on who contacted me first and replied in a timely enough manner. I had a couple who did contact but then when I sent responses, they never responded back. After waiting a week, I would go to the next contact.

I'm so sorry you're having trouble! Age wasn't necessairly an issue for me, either. I went by who ACTUALLY appreciated all the time and work that went into pumping 3x a day for a baby that wasn't even mine. Hang in there!!
