Hi Melissa,

I have tons of milk I can donate. Only problem is that the age of it is approximately 7-10 months old. I know that the "recommended" age for frozen milk is 3-6 months. Mine is slightly older. It is older due to the fact that I was signed up to donate to a milk bank and then they switched laboratories suddenly. This particular milk bank takes milk that is up to a year in age. They are still in the process of switching and now I am frustrated to think that my milk will be wasted possibly.

I will tell you that I keep this milk very cold...at the bottom of my freezer and in the back. My freezer is so cold in fact that I have to let my ice cream thaw on the counter for a good 20 minutes before being able to physically scoop it.

If you are interested, please let me know. I hate to waste all of this milk.

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Erin Siegel

Hi moms!

My daughter Jaelie has a very rare neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1. SMA affects the muscles used for sitting, crawling, walking and even more severely breathing and swallowing! It is the number 1 genetic killer of children under 2, Jaelie is 17 months. we have had breast milk donated to us through milkshare before but I am down to one day of milk left! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! We are trying to keep Jaelie around and healthy for a long time and breast milk has been our lifesaver! Please find it in your hearts to help!

Stay BLESSED,
Melissa & Jaelie
