Help for my son? Empty Help for my son?

Post by LSha Fri May 02, 2014 3:03 pm

Hi, I am a mother to a sweet 9 week old son. We have had multiple issues with breastfeeding and now formula. My son had a severe lip tie and tongue tie that remained undiagnosed for weeks. The 4th lactation consultant that I saw actually caught it. We had other issues including an induction due to preeclampsia and his hospitalization for jaundice. I was also re hospitalized for increased blood pressure, and the two of us were separated for a day which also contributed to breastfeeding issues. He had colic and pretty much needed to be held 24/7 for any relief. I tried to pump but was unable to pump the full 10-12 times per day due to holding him and having him literally kick off the shields. We received a generous donation of breast milk; the results were amazing. Now we have been out for approximately a week, and we are back to a crying and screaming unhappy baby. I'm working with my pediatrician to try to remedy this but no positive results yet. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I am more than happy to replace bags. I know this is a donation site but also I'm happy to trade diapers etc as a small token of appreciation for your hard work!
