Plenty of milk to share with NoVA or Richmond mommies/daddies
Re: Plenty of milk to share with NoVA or Richmond mommies/daddies
I'm in Northern VA and would love donor milk. It would be a huge blessing. My son was born 7 weeks early! I am breastfeeding but my supply is not enough for him and he projectile vomits any and all forumula even when it is mixed with BM. Please contact me! I can come pick up.

I am in NoVA and in need of milk for my soon to be born baby.
I need to stay in the area since DC#1 was born so fast... that I don't want to get stuck in traffic and not have my midwives deliver DC#2 at home.
I am more than willing to reimburse you for the cost of supplies (milk bags) and can pick up this week. I will reimburse you cost of gas too if we meet somewhere "in between".
My story? In "short":
I probably have IGT. I have been on prog cream/herbs for glandular tissue during pregnancy. Now, I'm starting goats rue for the same reason. I will hand express colostrum before baby arrives. And, when baby is born I will be on several herbs/etc, use SNS, plus pumping around the clock. I had to pump every 2 hrs w/ DC#1. My goal is 6 wks... taking one day at a time... but hoping to pump as many months as I can for DC#2. At 6 wks PP, I could pump 50% for DD#1. I am hoping to have a little more with DC#2, but it's not likely going to be 100%. If it is, that would be great but it is rare. Either way, it will take weeks to build-up since that amount doesn't occur just after the baby is born... which is why I am looking for donations before baby arrives. Medical records during pregnancy would be nice to see, too.
I am due in ~4 wks.

Plenty of milk to share with NoVA or Richmond mommies/daddies
I just joined Milk Share today and am so happy to have found this site. I have a 4 month old baby who is the love of my life. I make much, much more milk than my baby will ever drink. I have a deep freezer with bags upon bags of it and I'm running out of space. I hate the thought of having to toss out the milk. But I'll have to if I don't find someone to whom to donate.
About me... I'm very happy and very healthy. I take no meds, except prenatal vitamins. I am a healthy eater. I very rarely consume fast food, LOVE fruits and veggies, and mainly only eat chicken and fish. On the occasion I do consume red meat, I am very particular about where I get it from (generally from a farm).
Due to my location, I can donate to either NoVa or Richmond. I'm not really in a position to ship, however (time, money, supplies, knowhow). I'm open to a one-time donation, or an on-going relationship. Let me know if I can help your family.
