Thanks for your reply and thankfully I found someone who needed the milk and they came and picked it up this morning. Hope you find lots of younger baby milk for you coming little one!

Hi Julia,

Thank you so much for responding! If my unborn son were just 5 or 6 months old, I would definitely take your milk...and it devastates me to turn it down, but I'm just not able to give a newborn 2 year old milk, due to the many lactatation consultants I've talked to...I definitely gave my first son older milk when he was around 6 months old, but just can't do it with a newborn...

Can you give me your email address? I have a good friend with a 10 month old who is subsiding off of donor milk, and I'm sure she'd love it! I can pass your email on to her..

Thank you so much for reaching out!

Breast Cancer Survivor In Need of Breast Milk in Brooklyn!! Empty milk in manhattan, but only till Monday morn

Post by juliacolorado Fri Apr 26, 2013 12:39 pm

Hi! Thank you for sharing your story and congratulations on your little one!

I am visiting Manhattan for 5 days and pumping while I'm here, but won't be able to take the milk home, so I want someone else to have it Smile. On Sun night, I will have approx 40-50oz if you want to come pick up. My son just turned 2 so it is older baby milk. But I would love for you to have it. I'm leaving Mon morning about 9am so I'd need you to come pick up by then. Sun night might work best. I'm at 104th and Lexington Ave. Let me know if this works for you! you can message me here.

Breast Cancer Survivor In Need of Breast Milk in Brooklyn!! Empty Breast Cancer Survivor In Need of Breast Milk in Brooklyn!!

Post by ejpinkley Fri Apr 26, 2013 10:45 am

Hi moms,

I'm unable to breast feed due a double mastectomy in 2010. I got pregnant shortly after that time, and was able to feed my first son solely on donated milk until he was 13 months old. He's now 22 months.

I'm now pregnant again, and due in July. I'm having another boy, and would love to give him the same opportunity that my first son had.

I'm starting to collect now, as there seems to be a lot more people searching for milk now than there was in 2011!

We are located in Brooklyn, and would be happy to cover shipping charges if you have milk to donate..and could of course do local pick ups. If you have a constant oversupply, we'd love to help you out with that too!

Feel free to email me with any questions...we're especially looking for early milk, but we have a deep freezer and could take anything under a year old..

Thanks so much!
