I live in the Albany area and have a freezer of milk I've decided to start emptying slowly. I've been pumping since my baby was born pretty much (She's six months now) and am still pumping close to 10oz extra a day give or take. I'd be happy to donate. I'm not sure how much I have, but could probably easily fill a cooler for you.

Let me know what records you're hoping to get re: health and I'm happy to get them from my doc.

I am helping to search for milk on behalf of Baby Violet and her family. Her mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in early pregnancy and chose to forego treatment to save her daughter. Violet had to be delivered 2 months premature because her mother's body could no longer hold the pregnancy.

Her mom passed away a couple days before Christmas, and her dying wish was that her little girl can be on breastmilk until her first birthday. I am working with a local breastfeeding professional to find milk for Violet so that her uncle (whose care she is currently under) can focus on taking care of his new family.

Given Violet's premature birth, we are really hoping to find some premie or newborn milk, but ANY milk will be greatly appreciated. Violet is located in Pleasant Valley, NY (Dutchess County) but we have someone who is willing to drive a couple hours to pick up. She makes regular trips to Albany, northern NJ and Hartford/New Haven, CT.

If you are willing to supply copies of prenatal labs, we are happy to reimburse for any copy costs. Please feel free to black out any information that you do not want to have shared (address, SSN, etc).
