Are you still in need of milk for your son? I recently joined MilkShare and I have quite a bit of frozen milk. I recently discovered that I have the extra enzyme called lipase. There is nothing wrong with the milk that I have it just smells and tastes like sour milk once frozen. Because of this my 6-month old daughter refuses to drink it. Since your son is tube fed this should not be an issue. I see that you live in Indiana. I live in Columbia, MO but would be willing to ship the milk to you if you would be willing to pay the shipping cost. I have no idea how much it would cost to ship. If you are interested please let me know.

Thanks,
Katie

Anyone have milk near Liberty? Empty Anyone have milk near Liberty?

I am the mother of a special needs infant... he was born with a rare genetic condition (chances: 1 in 100,000) and although his long term prognosis is good, he is currently tube fed. I pumped for his first five months (he's eight months old now) but had to stop for many reasons. We've been using donor milk since January (I could never supply all his needs with my pumping) and he's only had to be on formula few days since then. We live in Indiana, but donors can be quite difficult to find there! I have family members in Liberty, MO for the week-end and they would *love* to bring back milk for my son if there's any to be had! I can reimburse for the cost of milk storage bags!

Thanks so much!
