Hi, I came across your post and would like to ask if the milk is still avail.? My daughter was born w/ IUGR and is severely struggling w/ her weight and growth. She's also developed colic and has had allergic reactions to every formula we've tried incl. the one she's currently using... If you still have anything avail. please contact me... I'm willing to cover the costs for shipping! incl. the cost to replace bags. Anything you have would be a big help at this point. Our daughter really needs the help! Thank you so much!!!

Milk to Donate in NoVA/DC area Empty Milk to Donate in NoVA/DC area

I have extra freezer stash to donate. My DD was born on May 20, 2011 and I have supply dating back to about May 27.

I'm not certain how much I have, other than a freezer drawer full. My daughter is a preemie, so she only takes about 16 oz a day right now. I had about 20 extra ounces a day. I'd like to donate my extra so my supply stays more current with her age. That, and my freezer drawer is full and my husband won't give me the other one. tongue

I am a non-smoker, HIV/Hep-, and do not drink alcohol at all. I do drink one cup of half-caf coffee in the am. I also take prenatal vitamins with DHA and Ditropan XL. My docs have approved the Ditropan; in fact I took it the entire 26 months I nursed my son. I also have a healthy diet that does include dairy products.

I envision this as a one-time donation, however may be in this position again in the future. I would prefer to donate locally to avoid the hassles of shipping. Please advise if you are interested; we can figure out the logistics (i.e. how much I really have) at that time.
