Will Need Breast Milk in June Empty Will Need Breast Milk in June

Post by ejpinkley Wed Feb 23, 2011 11:57 am

Hi everyone,

After having a double-mastectomy in July of last year due to a pre-cancer condition, I found out two months later that I was pregnant. I had been trying to get pregnant for 5 years, and then suddenly after major surgery, it happened out of the blue.

I am now very happily 5 1/2 months pregnant, but am deeply saddened about being unable to breastfeed.

I am not due until June, but was told by my midwife to start searching early for breast milk options, so I'm posting now.

If you have frozen milk that you'd like to donate, or even if you think you might still be pumping then, I would love to talk to you! My husband and I would be forever grateful...

We live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn but of course would travel to come and get it!

Thank you so much,
Eva and Stuart
