Would like to donate milk...I live in the Memphis area Empty Would like to donate milk...I live in the Memphis area

I am new to the board, so I don't have experience doing this, but I would like to help out other Mommys in need of breastmilk. I have two little miracles in my life and was able to breastfeed both. My first little girl was born 3 months early and I was pumping like a maniac until she was old enough to latch to the breast. I ended up with so much extra milk in the freezer that I had to dispose of it. I had no idea that I could have donated it and I feel bad about that. That was 2 years ago, currently I am breastfeeding my 6 old son and he is thriving. I have not needed to pump for my son, so I do not have any breast milk frozen. But I will pump once or twice a day and have some stored up quickly. I live just outside of Memphis, in Germantown. I am willing to ship, if no one locally responds.

Feel free to ask any questions,
Kerry
