donor protection against liability???!! Empty donor protection against liability???!!

Would it be reasonable to ask the recipient to agree and sign a waiver relieving the donor of any liability? Of course, i am going to provide as much info about myself to the best of my knowledge. I will be as truthful and complete as i can but i also have to protect myself. You know, like what if the baby gets sick or for some reason the donor is blamed for something involving the breast milk? Just trying to cover all my basis. This, I am sure, goes for all people here that do things "in good faith". I've read the "donor agreement". Just thinking there should be something else.
Is this wrong to think?
I want be kind and do the best I can for anyone who receives my milk.

donor protection against liability???!! Empty Re: donor protection against liability???!!

I was hoping to see some replies to this question. I have been donating to a family who has received milk before, so I didn't have this worry. But, I am trying to get a friend to donate as well, and she is worried about donor protection. I want to see her feel comfortable to donate, so I am trying to find out answers for her. Hopefully someone can add some insight!
