Hi, Courney, my name is Kishi. I have lots of high quality frozen breast milk. Please go to my post (by Kishi) take a look at my introduction. If you can come to Virginia Beach to take them, that will be great.

Thanks so much for the information, I will definitely not try to freeze my milk now, but will bring it back chilled from my trip:) I was able to get some milk donated so I have some back up if there are problems with tsa or my supply stays a bit low after I get back. The double pumping does work out well, but it always makes me wish I had three hands:) thanks again for all your advice:)

Hi,
I'm a working, pumping mom too. I did bring breast milk back on a plane once and it is allowed. What I did was printed off this page http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/children/formula.shtm and took it with me. Before I went through the line I actually opened the cooler bag for the agent and said, "this is breast milk for my baby at home" and then showed them my breast pump. They were fine with it and just made it all go through the x-ray machine. You can also get a note from your OBGYN or pediatrician if you are really worried that states you are in fact a mom with an infant who is nursing.
I also suggest you not freeze the milk you save from your trip, keep it cold in the fridge until you fly home and then use ice for the trip (you can restock easy at the air port). Then you don't have to worry about it thawing during the flight, I've found it's much easier to keep the milk cold then it is to keep it frozen.
Oh and I have taken 2 two week business trips and my daughter still nursed when I got home so if anything just pump and dump (I also did that because she was older and not taking my expressed milk any more). You can check out the whole story on my blog (www.abreastfeedingstory.blogspot.com)
A great way I increased my supply before leaving was to get up and pump on one side while my daughter nursed on the other, it was exhausting, but really helped me have a great supply to start with on my trip. Don't be alarmed either because your supply will drop by the end of the trip, but the most important thing is that you are still making milk by the end not the ammount.
Good luck!

hi my name is courtney and i would like to see if there are any mommies on here that would be willing to donate milk to my little man...i am currently exclusively breastfeeding (pumping for daycare) and can't seem to get much 'stock piled' in the freezer...the concern is that i travel for work and would like to continue to feed him only breast milk...i have spoken with TSA about bringing back my frozen breastmilk after my business trips and they say it is alright (but not holding my breath at this point), but in the meantime i have two back to back trips (4-5 days each) at the end of July and i can't seem to freeze enough to get little man through those weeks.

if anyone is willing to donate, i live in the hampton roads area, but am willing to travel to Richmond or DC, or we could meet halfway.

stats about me...ovo-vegetarian (lactose intolerant), taking multivitamin, mini-pill, vit. d, and occasional NSAIDs, no alcohol, no tobacco.

please let me know a little about yourself...i can also be reached at taureanbuddhist@yahoo.com...thank you for your consideration:)
