In Need of Breastmilk in Hampton Roads Area Empty In Need of Breastmilk in Hampton Roads Area

Post by djosgood Fri Jul 23, 2010 5:56 am

Hi!

I live in the Hampton Roads area and I have a 2 month old daughter. I am trying to breast feed her, but because of personal health issues I do not produce enough breast milk to feed her. We have tried formula for the past two weeks but it does not settle well and has recently caused her to become congested. We would love to give her breast milk instead of formula if I could find someone who was willing to donate breast milk for her.

If possible, we would like the breast milk to be wheat free, as I am on a wheat free/gluten free diet. My daughter has never been introduce to any wheat/gluten through my pregnancy and thus far in her first two months of breast feeding/formula feeding. I am highly allergic to wheat/gluten because I have Celiac Disease and we are not sure if my daughter has Celiac Disease yet, but it is genetic so highly possible she may have it as well.

If you are interested in helping us, please respond here or email us at: djosgood27@yahoo.com. I can get a note or prescription from my doctors office if this would help! Thanks so much! We really appreciate it!
