Oh, Lukie! Yay, Tami! What a big accomplishment! I am so happy for you. I have a mom in Bedford that has I think 60 or so ounces that you could probably have for him. She is another one of my homebirth clients. If you think you can get down there, I can connect you. She was saving it for Kareem, but I'm sure she'd be just as happy to give it to Luke. Give him a big hug for me and PM me on FB. xoxo

Looking for milk Empty Looking for milk

Post by tmckay Tue Oct 12, 2010 9:07 am

I have about 1 1/2 days of milk left for my son, Luke. We have been extremely fortunate that we have been able to give Luke at least some breast milk every day thanks to our donors. This is the lowest supply I've ever had which is actually a wonderful thing - we've been so lucky to go this long!

I have hypoplastic breasts (not enough milk ducts) and make almost no milk. Luke is 14 months now but we are hoping to keep him on at least an evening bottle of breast milk and some in his porridge until he is 2. Nothing like breast milk to give these little ones a healthy immune system and tons of great things to grow on!

We live in Beverly, but I'm happy to drive some if it makes sense for us.

Thank you for your consideration!

Tami
