Hi!

I would be interested in receiving your milk if you don't find a local home for it. I have a four month old, slightly preemie son we adopted at birth. I have been desperately trying to keep him exclusively on breastmilk, but have been unable to find enough local donors (we live in Atlanta) and have driven to NC, AL and TN to pick up milk. We have still had to supplement with formula to stretch our supply, although he doesn't do very well on the formula. I think Memphis might be too far of a drive to make in one day, but I would be happy to send you a cooler and all the shipping stuff you need and arrange to have it picked up from you.

We also adopted our son's half sister at birth (she's now 20 months) and I was fortunate to keep her exclusively on donated breastmilk until she was one. She has been the healthiest kid I know, and I attribute much of that to the breastmilk as they have other half sibs who are more sickly kids (allergies, constant ear infections, eczema, etc). I am hoping to do the same for her baby brother!

Please let me know if this is something you would be willing to do, and thanks for considering us.

I currently have enough milk to feed my baby girl til she is 1 but if you don't find a home for your milk please don't throw it out, let me know and I will be happy to come and get it and give her the best for a while longer. Here is my orrigial post if you are interested. I pray you can find someone for your milk but if not like I said don't throw it out let me know :-) I am in Nahsville.

I am a new mommy of a 4-month old baby boy in Memphis, TN. I am pumping much more than he needs and currently have at least 700 ounces of milk frozen and am looking for a baby in need of it. I would like to deliver locally but would be willing to ship if need be. I am a non drinker/smoker/drug user and would be glad to provide a medical doc to prove my health, etc. Here's hoping my milk finds a home!!!!
