My Milk Share Journey Empty My Milk Share Journey

Post by rubyrogue Wed Jan 06, 2010 3:43 pm

Hello all, I am the proud Mommy of a nine month old little monster. He is such a joy but refuses bottles. The first time I donated I sent over 200oz via UPS to Washington to two great Daddies with twins. Shortly after sending I got Swine flu, then an ear infection and pneumonia and my supply crashed. I basically spent a week in bed nursing switching sides every couple of hours trying to get my supply back up. I went from producing enough for my son plus 20 extra ounces a day to barely producing enough for my son. It took some time but I finally got my supply back enough that I was able to produce about 6 extra ounces a day, then Aunt Flo decided to return and I now produce about 3 extra ounces (give or take) a day which I currently donate to a wonderful mommy in the same town as me. It has been such a great experience. I am now starting my journey into Surrogacy and once matched plan to either pump for my IP's or I will be back on here to donate. Wishing you all a GREAT New Year.

I sent milk to a couple daddies with twin girls! And then I came down with swine flu too! How ironic
