Hi Kristina,

I have a 6 week old baby girl who could very much use your milk. I am in Charlotte. Would you be willing to ship? I will gladly reimburse shipping charges. My phone number is 704-778-1055 if you would like to text me/speak with me further ☺️

Wanting to donate milk (Asheville area) Empty Wanting to donate milk (Asheville area)

Hello all,

I have a three-month old daughter and have been blessed with an abundant supply of milk which is crowding up my freezer and I would love to share this with another family who could use breast milk.  I live in Arden, NC (just south of Asheville).  I just started looking into donating milk, so I haven't had any official screening done.  But I'm willing to do this, just unsure of the steps needed (and would ask someone to offset any costs associated with screening).  I'm posting some basic info about my diet/habits below.  I have at least 150 oz I can donate now, and if my over-supply continues, could probably donate again in the future.  Let me know if anyone is interested!

~Kristina

My Health Info:
Caffeine: I don't drink coffee, so no caffeine there.  I let myself have two sodas a week and it's usually Mtn. Dew, so some caffeine there.  Plus I enjoy chocolate.
Alcohol: None (I very rarely drank alcohol before getting pregnant and haven't had any to drink while pregnant or nursing)
Nicotine/tobacco: None
Medications: No regular medications.  I take a daily pre-natal vitamin and also a fish oil supplement.  I was taking Allegra/Zyrtec daily for about a month, but it seems like allergy season is over, so I've stopped taking that regularly.  I take ibuprofen/acetaminophen as needed.
General diet: I'd say it's average.  I'm continually trying to be healthier, but must admit I love pizza, popcorn and chocolate-y things.  But try to get in good amounts of fruit and vegetables as well.  I eat a lot of meat (so not vegetarian) and decent amount of dairy (milk, cheese).   Also, I can't afford to go organic.  If you want more detailed info on diet, I can share that as well.
