Hi!

We'd be interested in your milk. I have a 12 day old boy and we've been using formula with him but would really love to get him on breastmilk. I'm pumping what I can but I don't really produce anything significant. We've used donor mamas before and have loved it!! I'm still close with some who donated to my now 5 year old. I'm in auburn but would drive to meet up. We'd love to chat with you!
Thanks, Sara & baby Ty

Would you use my milk donation?

Post by VeggieVeg on Sun Jun 21, 2015 9:39 pm

I don't have milk right now, as I am building up a freezer stash. I have donated with a previous child but now am on two medications and want to know if anyone would even be interested in my milk before I work on building a freezer stash to donate.

First off, I am very healthy, I am vegan and eat a completely dairy free diet of mostly organic foods, I am in good shape.

I am on two medications: Enbrel (Etanercept) for arthritis and Acyclovir (400mg daily) for oral cold sores. I have not had any outbreaks. I have a very healthy, very chunky 2 month old.

Here is information on the medications:
http://www.drugs.com/breastfeeding/etanercept.html

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8068994

If you would use milk with someone on these medications could you please just leave a note to let me know (if you won't, no need to leave a message). I am more than happy to pump, I just want to know if people are interested.

Thank you!
