Jennifer- I tried to post a private reply, but MilkShare won't let me send a private message because I created my account in the last 7 days. Could you send me a private message with your email address and we could communicate that way?

Hi Jennifer,

I have a three-month old daughter and have been blessed with an abundant supply of milk which is crowding up my freezer. Are you still needing milk for your adopted baby? I live in Arden, NC (just south of Asheville). I just started looking into how to donate milk, so I haven't had any screening done or anything. I'm perfectly willing to do this, but am unsure of the steps needed (and would ask you to offset any costs associated with screening). But I have at least 150 oz I can donate now, and if my over-supply continues, could probably donate again in the future.

Let me know if you're interested!

Kristina

Hi Jennifer,

I am currently building a stash to donate and would be willing to give you some. I am currently in New York but will be moving back to Georgia in 6 months. I can ship either way if you are interested. If you have any questions please PM me.

My family just learned today that we will be adopting a little girl in early June! Her birth mother lives in Asheville and will be having a c-section on June 5 and does not plan to provide breast milk. I would really love for this little girl to have a great start at birth -- both she and birth mom have had some rough times physically these past 8 months. If you are in the general (Charlotte/Asheville area (or beyond!) and can help in any way, we would all be so incredibly grateful!

Many thanks and much gratitude for you all,
Jennifer
